For over
thirty one
years, we at Sakura
Gardens have had the great pleasure of serving up Japanese culture
to the Montreal community. Our traditional menu, adorable staff and
authentic atmosphere make for both a dining and learning experience.
Practically unheard of when the restaurant was
established in 1973, Japanese cuisine has come to be both widely
known and impossibly chic! With a great selection of tasty
dishes that are light, nutritious and beautifully presented, it is
no wonder it has become so popular. We at Sakura are proud to offer
the typical Japanese menu. An incredible amount of choice assures
that everyone will be satisfied while enjoying the fully traditional
taste.
Service at Sakura is at once charming and
colourful. Outfitted in bright kimonos, our waitresses are delighted
to assist you, and can do so in three languages. (Japanese, French
and English) Warm and friendly, they are dedicated to making your
dining experience a pleasurable one.
Our cheery paper lanterns and quaint shoji
dividers add to the atmosphere which is relaxed, inviting and
suitable for formal or informal dining. The restaurant has a
capacity of 150 people with two main dining rooms, a large sushi bar
and several tatami rooms. There is also a private party room and bar
which is well equipped for karaoke, and holds 60 people.
The dress code is casual, and reservations are
recommended for week-ends, tatami rooms and large groups.
